The Maryland State Yo-Yo Contest will be held on Saturday, March 24th, 2007 at the Perryville Elementary School in Perryville MD. This contest is open to
all ages and is officially sanctioned by the National Yo-yo League and the American Yo-yo Association.  This year's judges will be "The Mighty" Tressley Cahill, Mikhail Tulabut, and Tim "Padre Siesta" Redmond, and will be emceed by Tom "Hollywood" Uleau.
This year's divisions are sport ladder, single A and the open division. The winner of the single A division will be seeded directly into the finals at the Mid-Atlantic Regional Yo-Yo Contest to be held in Wilmington Delaware later this year. There will also be world record attempts (Actually, Padre Siesta GUARANTEES at least one new world record in MD this year.). And this year the Perryville Elementary School PTA will be selling refreshments, so you don't even have to leave the premises to get food. Woohoo!
